To strengthen communication and exchange among member enterprises, report on the association’s operations, analyze industry trends, promote industrial policies, and plan for high-quality development in the sector, the Third Session of the Third Member Congress of the Zhejiang Provincial Pump and Valve Industry Association and the Third Session of the Fifth Member Congress of the County Association were held on December 15 at the Pullman Hotel in Oubei. Xu Xiang, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Yongjia County People’s Government and President of the Wenzhou System Process Equipment Science Research Institute, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The conference commenced with the "Promotion Meeting for the Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the County’s Pump and Valve Industry." Zheng Huanyi, Director of the Yongjia County Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, delivered the opening address. He stated that in recent years, Yongjia has aimed to build a modern manufacturing industry cluster worth hundreds of billions of yuan, focusing on enhancing the construction of a public innovation service system. Initiatives have included establishing the nation’s first NB-IOT Intelligent Pump and Valve Industry Alliance and Joint Innovation Laboratory, creating a provincial-level system process equipment industry innovation service complex, and setting up platforms such as the Zhejiang Pump and Valve Testing Center, the National Valve Quality Inspection Center, the Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology, the Wenzhou Graduate School, and the Yongjia Casting Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. These efforts aim to drive the transformation of the pump and valve industry from single-product manufacturing to integrated system process equipment.

The second phase of the conference featured the Third Session of the Third Member Congress of the Zhejiang Provincial Pump and Valve Industry Association. At the meeting, Yu Jinliang, Executive Vice President, presented the "Association 2021 Annual Work Summary Report." Yang Jiangfeng, Assistant President of the Wenzhou Branch of China Minsheng Bank, delivered a speech and signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with Huang Shengfeng, President of the Association. Additionally, an on-site credit line of 500 million yuan was granted to support technological innovation in the county’s pump and valve industry.

President Huang Shengfeng delivered a speech titled "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Pump and Valve Industry to Support the Construction of a Common Prosperity Demonstration Zone." The report provided a detailed and in-depth analysis from three key aspects: the achievements in the high-quality development of the pump and valve industry, the challenges currently faced, and the future development strategies. The report holds significant guiding importance for the entire industry. President Huang Shengfeng urged all members to attach great importance to these insights, unite as one, overcome difficulties, and contribute their due efforts to the high-quality development of the pump and valve industry.

Finally, President Xu Xiang delivered a speech. He emphasized that in the post-pandemic era, confidence is more valuable than gold. It is essential to maintain a clear perspective, chart a steady course forward, adjust mindsets, and set out anew. He called for proactive initiatives, accelerated development, strengthened industrial transformation and upgrading, and seizing opportunities in the international market.
