On May 22, the "Seminar on the Digital Transformation of Pump and Valve Products" was held in Wenzhou. The event was jointly organized by the Wenzhou Service Station of the China Instrument and Control Society and the Wenzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University, with co-organization by Wenzhou Fengyong Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

The seminar focused on topics such as development trends in the pump and valve industry, the value of digital empowerment, and the integrated development of intelligent manufacturing with the pump and valve sector. It aimed to explore how the pump and valve industry can advance the integration of digital technologies with the real economy, deepen practical applications, and better support the industry's transformation toward digitalization, green development, and intelligent upgrading. The discussions aligned with the requirements of Zhejiang Province's "Digital Zhejiang" initiative and regional intelligent manufacturing development needs, aiming to actively contribute to the advancement of Wenzhou's traditional pump and valve industry.

Huang Mingya, Chairperson of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Valves, Jin Zhijiang, Executive Vice President of the Wenzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University and Head of the Wenzhou Service Station of the China Instrument and Control Society, and Chen Jingmiao, Chairperson of the Zhejiang Provincial Technical Committee for Standardization of Valves, along with other experts from the pump and valve industry, attended the meeting. Representatives from associations including the Zhejiang Pump and Valve Association, Wenzhou Pump and Valve Association, Wenzhou Longwan Valve Industry Association, and Yongjia County Entrepreneurs Association, as well as entrepreneurs from companies such as Zhejiang Bertel Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Linuo Flow Control Co., Ltd., Fangzheng Valve Group, Baoyi Group, Chaoda Valve Group, and Liangong Valve Group, were present at the seminar to share insights, build consensus, and explore collaborative development. The meeting was chaired by Li Qiaoshi, Vice President of the Wenzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University.

During the meeting, Professor Jin Zhijiang, Executive Vice President of the Research Institute, delivered a special lecture on digital design technologies for pump and valve products. He emphasized that the digital design of pump and valve products should integrate big data, cloud computing platforms, and analytical software to conduct in-depth vertical research into valve mechanisms and horizontal digital empowerment of valves. This approach aims to establish a deeply integrated digital innovation design platform for pump and valve products, combining "digital technology with scientific issues, key technologies, and product development." This platform is expected to enhance the efficiency and precision of traditional pump and valve product design, achieving the "three upgrades" of rationalized design, high-end products, and localization in critical sectors. Zheng Yuhai, Senior Engineer and Intelligent Manufacturing Expert from Zhejiang Electromechanical Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., shared practical achievements in the application of intelligent manufacturing in the pump and valve sector, highlighting how these advancements can effectively improve enterprise production efficiency and reduce costs.

Jin Keyu, Vice General Manager of Zhejiang Bertel Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to participate in the roundtable forum. He engaged in lively discussions with fellow entrepreneurs on the application scenarios of digital and intelligent technologies, addressing pain points in existing enterprise design and production methods, and offered constructive insights and recommendations.
