Bertel undertook the supply of key equipment for the stations in the first phase of the Mengxi Pipeline project.

On June 29, the first phase of the Mengxi Pipeline Project—a key national project aimed at enhancing the interconnectivity of natural gas infrastructure—was successfully commissioned. This marks the inauguration of China's first major natural gas trunk line directly supplying the Xiongan New Area.

The Mengxi Pipeline spans a total length of 1,279 kilometers, traversing four provincial-level regions: Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, and Tianjin. The first phase of the project, which has now commenced operations, extends 413.5 kilometers. It starts from the Lingang Offtake Station of the Tianjin LNG Terminal and ends at the Dingxing Offtake Station in Baoding, Hebei. With a maximum pipeline diameter of 1,016 millimeters, it is designed for an annual transmission capacity of 6.6 billion cubic meters. Natural gas from the Tianjin LNG Receiving Terminal will be transported via this pipeline to North China, ensuring clean energy supply for residential use along the route and providing reliable natural gas support for the high-standard, high-quality development of the Xiongan New Area.

Zhejiang Bertel Technology Co., Ltd. was responsible for supplying key equipment for the stations and valve chambers in the first phase of the Mengxi Pipeline project, including offtake and shutoff valves. These supplies primarily covered stations and valve chambers such as the Yongqing Offtake Station, Bazhou Offtake Station, Dingxing Offtake Station, Jinghai Offtake Station, Dagang Offtake Station, Qijiawu Pigging Station, Huanghua Terminal Station, as well as Valve Chambers No. 33 to 38 and TJ4# to TJ5#.

Since the beginning of this year, China’s National Pipeline Network Group has focused on strengthening the energy production, supply, storage, and marketing system, as well as enhancing security capabilities in the energy sector. Amid a significant acceleration in project construction, it has continued to weave a tighter "national interconnected network."
